Dejame contarte un poco sobre mi... soy Florencia. Naci en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Estoy casada y soy mama de Mateo (12 años) y Sienna (9 años).
Desde muy chiquita me gusta trabajar con mis manos. A los 5 años, mi abuela paterna y mi mama me enseñaron a tejer a dos agujas. Luego, mi mama me enseño a tejer al crochet y mas adelante mi abuela materna me enseño a bordar.
Durante mi niñez estudie Bellas Artes en varias escuelas y musica por 11 años en el conservatorio de musica en la Ciudad de Corrientes, Argentina.
A los 24 años me case con mi media naranja y me mude a vivir con el a Boston, Massachusetts. En ese entonces no hablaba ni una gota de Ingles, pero eso se arreglo despues de 1 año intensivo de Ingles como segunda lengua en la Universidad de Massachusetts.
Mas adelante consegui trabajo en una casa de novias y trabaje alli por 6 años. Alli comence haciendo ruedos, planchando y bordando vestidos de novias, madrinas y niñas. Esos 6 años me sirvieron inmensamente para aprender muchas tecnicas de costura a mano y aprender a arreglar ropa hecha, achicandolas, agrandandolas etc.
Hace 2 años comence a estudiar a distancia, Diseño de Modas Industrial en la academia de Hermenegildo Zampar.

Let me share a bit about me...I'm Florencia. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm married and I have two children...Mateo (12 years old) and Sienna (9 years old).
Since I was a little girl, I liked working with my hands. At the age of 5, my paternal grandmother and my mother taught me how to knit. Then, my mother taught me how to crochet and later my maternal grandmother taught me how to embroider. When I was younger, I studied Fine Arts at multiple schools and I also studied music for 11 years in the music conservatory in Corrientes, Argentina.
When I was 24, I got married to my other half and I moved to Boston, Massachusetts to live together. At that time, I didn't speak a lick of English, but that was fixed by a year of intensive English at the University of Massachusetts.
Later, I got a job at a bridal salon and I worked there for 6 years. I started by hemming, ironing, and performing beadwork embroidery on wedding gowns. Those 6 years helped me immensely to learn couture techniques and alterations.
Two years ago I started studying industrial fashion design as a remote student (Diseño de Modas Industrial en la academia de Hermenegildo Zampar).
